Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Operations Analyst for an on-site position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ. This is a 6-month contract opportunity.

Pay range up to: $53.51 per hour, W2

The Trade Services Operations professional is responsible for the end-to-end processing of trade finance products, including Import and Export Letters of Credit and Documentary Collections. The role supports accurate execution, settlement, and servicing of trade transactions in accordance with internal policies, external rules, and applicable regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

Process Import Letters of Credit, including acceptances, discounts, and payments

Support Export Letters of Credit activities, including advising, confirmations, booking ofmissions (both in advance and in arrears), and daily accrual processing

Book and manage syndicated Letter of Credit transactions, ensuring accurate execution and ongoing administration

Process Import and Export Documentary Collections, including registration, acceptances, settlements, payments, and associated financing activities

Perform invoicing activities related to Import and Export Letters of Credit

Ensure all transactions are processed inpliance with ICC rules, internal controls, and established operating procedures

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Master's is a plus

Proven experience in Documentary Letters of Credit, with a strong working knowledge of applicable International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) rules (e.g., UCP, URC, ISBP, as applicable)

Strong attention to detail, risk awareness, and ability to operate accurately in a high volume, control focused environment

Desired skills:

Certificate for Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) designation is a plus
