Shipping Associate 7:30am - 4pm. $20

Must have inventory experience.

Shipping Operations:

Prepare outbound shipments by verifying order accuracy, selecting appropriate packaging

materials, and securing items for transit.

Operate Ship Station, ERP systems (Global Shop), and carrier software (FedEx, UPS,

DHL) to generate shipping labels, manifests, and tracking details.

Coordinate with carriers to schedule pickups, negotiate rates, and resolve delivery

discrepancies. Enforce FIFO (First-In-First-Out) principles to prioritize urgent shipments and prevent

delays. Monitor shipping costs and recommend cost-saving strategies, such as consolidating

shipments or selecting alternative carriers.

Documentation & Compliance:

Prepare bills of lading, commercial invoices, and customs documentation for international

shipments. Ensure compliance with DOT, IATA, and OSHA regulations, particularly for hazardous

materials or restricted items.

Maintain digital records of shipping documents in the ERP system for auditing and

traceability.

Conduct pre-shipment inspections to verify compliance with customer specifications and

regulatory requirements.

Inventory Coordination:

Collaborate with warehouse teams to locate and pull items for shipment, minimizing

downtime between order fulfillment and dispatch.

Perform cycle counts on high-priority inventory to ensure stock accuracy before shipping.

Report inventory discrepancies, such as shortages or damaged goods, to the Warehouse

Coordinator for resolution.
