In this role, the Logistics Specialist will ensure GMP compliance throughout Logistics operations. Maintain a safe work environment. Act as a key knowledge point for expertise and leadership in supply chain processes and principles for inbound operations, inventory management, outbound operations to support Norwood Site. Drive key projects and improvements to closure to ensure processes are continuously improved within Logistics. Play a key role in training team members and any quality events to support compliance across Logistics.
Here's What You'll Do
* Drive compliance and identify any compliance gaps through quality event support and execution.
* Ensure that Moderna's Quality Policy and Quality Management System is established and followed.
* Implement preventive and corrective actions.
* Supply Chain Logistics systems subject matter expert in digital systems including SAP, Maximo, Veeva, Kneat, and others.
* Support Supply Chain Logistics projects and training for continuous improvements and efficiencies.
* Comply with cGMP as well as federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling regulations. Enforce adherence to requirements and advise management on needed actions.
* Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and identifying any gaps or improvements.
* Investigational support for inventory discrepancies or process gaps.
* Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications and establishing personal networks.
Here's What You'll Need (Basic Qualifications)
* Education: Minimum of High School Diploma
* Experience: At least 4 years' experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain; must have at least 2- 3 years' industry experience in a cGMP environment with experience in Materials Management, Manufacturing Production or Supply Chain Management.
* Demonstrated aptitude or ability to learn to gain a strong understanding of GmP standards
* This position is site-based, requiring you to be at Moderna's site full-time. This position is not eligible for remote work.
