Qualifications:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the daily operation of the Belen Consolidated Schools Warehouse,

supporting all district sites through logistics, inventory control, custodial supply management, surplus and auction

coordination, safety training coordination, and compliance with state and district requirements.

This position encompasses a broad range of administrative, operational, financial, safety, and public-facing

responsibilities. The role is highly hands-on and requires strong judgment, prioritization, and adaptability, as new and

unplanned issues arise regularly.

• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to prioritize competing demands and meet deadlines
• Experience with inventory, logistics, or warehouse operations preferred
• Proficiency with computer systems and record-keeping
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
• Comfort interacting with the public and handling liability-sensitive situations
• Willingness to learn through hands-on experience
• Forklift Certified (or ability to obtain certification)
• OSHA 10 Certified (or ability to obtain certification)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in office support or administrative roles, ideally in a school or transportation setting.
• Training or experience in student/parent behavior management and de-escalation.
• Knowledge of the district's geographic area and school locations.
• Experience as a school bus driver or in transportation dispatching.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
