Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Production Planner to join their team. As a Production Planner, you will be part of the Supply Chain Department supporting production planning and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and proactive problem-solving abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Planner
Location: New Ulm, MN (onsite)
Pay Range: $23-$25/hr
Duration: 12 months (potential to extend/convert)
What's the Job?
- Planning and scheduling of production work centers to meet customer requirements
- Monitoring work center output to improve operational efficiency
- Procuring materials and communicating with suppliers on future requirements
- Collaborating with planning, engineering, and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow
- Managing capacity, identifying constraints, and resolving production issues
What's Needed?
- Experience in supply chain planning or production scheduling
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral
- Ability to analyze and optimize parameters for production processes
- Knowledge of inventory management and capacity planning
- Proficiency in coordinating with cross-functional teams
