Material Coordinator

Manufacturing Shop Hiring for: Material Coordinator Great Company- Temp to Hire Magnolia, Texas Primary Responsibilities: Coordinates with the procurement team to ensure timely ordering of materials based on the materials procurement plan. Able to operate sit-down forklift to transport material Ensures that all materials meet quality standards and specifications given by the engineering department. Coordinates the internal distribution of materials to various production departments based on production schedules. Documents material and resources statuses as required through (ERP System) and related tools. Monitors inventory levels and optimizes inventory turnover to minimize stockouts and excess inventory costs. Works closely with production, quality control, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure seamless material flow and address any issues that may arise. Participates manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste, improve processes, and enhance overall efficiency in material management.
