Job DetailsJob Location: Miami, FL 33122Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: 1st ShiftJob Category: Non DOT - Safety Sensitive PositionSUMMARY: As part of a leading global aerospace distribution company, the Supply Chain Business Analyst supports the overall supply chain process as a liaison with various departments across the organization and is responsible for driving financial results and performance improvement through optimal operational flow and Inventory health of products across the supply chain. This position supports end to end supply chain optimization processes through assigned projects and analytics. Key responsibilities include completing detailed analyses of sales and inventory, and forecasts across different regions and levels of complexity. Identifying risks and opportunities across the business, recommending actions to maximize sales, profitability, Inventory health, and Inventory productivity. The analyst works with the leadership team to develop and rollout new analytical reports, dashboards, and for use internally and/or externally (Customers/Suppliers). The analyst will be expected to synthesize large quantities of related data from various purchasing/finance/forecasting systems into actionable qualitative and quantitative analyses.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Define, evaluate, and analyze related data for management team and for Executive presentations. Interpret data and present results concisely – reach concrete conclusions supported by data.

Drive/Track performance through development of KPIs across the Supply Chain, prepare reports or dashboards to provide reliable data to internal and external stakeholders

Development of planning and forecasting analysis/methods for proper stocking levels of material required to be purchased for distribution business.

Review and analysis of inventory aging and reserve policies for mitigation and optimization.

Modeling and analysis of potential new product lines and inventory investments.

Gather and analyze data to develop insights used for the optimization of the organization's supply chain operations

Lead or participate in business process analysis, supply chain optimization, and process improvements projects as assigned.

Provides exceptional support to external and internal customers as well as team members

QualificationsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (INCLUDES EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES), ETC.):

Bachelor’s Degree

6-7 years of relevant/technical work experience OR

An additional 3 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.

Understanding of data analysis/business intelligence tools and systems such as MS Excel, PowerBI, MS Access

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; strong numbers aptitude

Excellent verbal and written communication, ability to work in fast paced environment, team player/ ability to work cross-functionally

Ability to influence peers and business partners without authority and to execute under ambiguous circumstances

Superior presentation and negotiation skills

High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail required

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

Master’s degree

9+ years of supply chain or business analytics work experience with 3+ years of Supply Chain Execution and/or analysis experience

Working knowledge of Component Control Quantum or similar ERP

Procurement and inventory planning experience

Expertise with development and management of SIOP Processes and programs

OTHER (INCLUDE LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, SECURITY CLEARANCE, TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS, ETC.):
