Secures and schedules equipment, manpower, supplies, and tools for classes, organizational operations, events, and activities. Acquires supplies to ensure the efficient and uninterrupted operations of the Logistics division. Reports any damages to, defects, failures, or safety hazards to the supervisor, and takes appropriate action as advised. Prepares and delivers supplies, including props, equipment, and tools, with appropriate approvals for training classes, academic classes, standard operations, and organization events. Enters and updates data for inventory control, scheduling, and equipment maintenance. Acquires and/or maintains certifications required to preform various duties, including but not limited to forklift operations, proper repair of turnout gear, maintenance of SCBAs, etc.. Assists with training ground maintenance with respect to snow removal, general repairs, installations, and refurbishments. Performs other job duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent required. Valid driver's license required. Preferred Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience related to the Summary of Duties, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience totaling three years, is preferred. Class A CDL is preferred. Knowledge Knowledge of equipment maintenance. Knowledge of mechanical operations, standard repair procedures and techniques, and hydraulic systems. Skills Skill with managing and prioritizing multiple projects and assignments. Skills in maintenance and repair of large mobile equipment such as semi-trucks, loaders, and firefighting equipment. Interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Skill in written and oral communication. Abilities Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Ability to effectively communicate verbally, non-verbally, and in writing. Ability to maintain accurate records and files. Ability to operate wire, arc, and oxyacetylene welders and associated tools and materials used in fabrication Ability to read blueprints. Ability to acquire and maintain certifications requiring the various duties, including but not exclusive to CDL, forklift operations, proper repair of turnout gear, maintenance of SCBAs, etc.
