The Receiving Warehouse Manager is a critical member of our leadership team, directly supporting our receiving associates to meet and exceed daily operational goals, build associate engagement, and drive a culture which promotes safety and a customer-first mentality.
Principle Duties, Responsibilities & Required Skills
Execution of existing, and creation of new, Receiving SOPs
Ensure that receipts are 100% accurate
Personal and team execution of all safety policies, including PPE expectations
Promptly reporting all workplace accidents and incidents, and the timely completion of accident investigations
Responsible for building security; Open and close the building
Ensure Receiving Department cleanliness standards and 5S expectations are maintained at all times
Ensure that Receiving Team members are performing their work efficiently and at expected pace
Ensure that all forklift operations complete daily equipment checklist to ensure the fitness of their equipment
Training and development of team members
Process transfers to, and receive transfers from, other company sites
Ensure that any receipts marked for inspection are quarantined
Perform process audits to ensure that the Receiving Team is correctly performing SOPs with a high degree of quality and safely
Assist Inventory Control team in the timely resolution of inventory discrepancies
Cross-train Receiving Team to support other aspects of the operations as business needs change
Willing and able to assist in all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, Putaway, picking, shipping, and operating forklifts and other PIT equipment in order to meet our Company’s same-day-shipping guarantee
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and make decisions based upon available data

The ideal candidate would have 3-5 years of experience as a supervisor supporting a successful team in a distribution, manufacturing, or ecommerce environment
High School diploma or equivalency required; Bachelor’s Degree in a supply chain related field preferred
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and make decisions based upon available data
Work Environment
This position is in a non-climate-controlled facility. The candidate should have the ability to work in an environment of varying temperature and noise levels while performing the duties of this job. The Distribution Center Receiving Supervisor will be required to stand for a majority of their shift, climb stairs, climb ladders, use of tools and other equipment, reach, balance, stoop, and kneel. The employee must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
