Inventory Worker – Temporary Warehouse Inventory Specialist

Location: Grand Junction, IA

Pay Rate: $23-$26/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-2:30pm

Assignment Type: Temporary

Kelly® Services is seeking a dedicated Inventory Worker (Warehouse Inventory Specialist) to join our client’s growing team in Grand Junction, Iowa. If you’re a motivated individual with strong inventory management skills and a focus on workplace safety, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Management & Documentation



    	

  • Navigate inventory systems and applications including Excel, Word, EPAC, and CMMS to lookup assets and work orders.

    	

  • Identify, look up, and locate common parts including motors, pumps, bearings, and valves.

    	

  • Properly document parts removed from stock and accurately fill out related part forms.

    	

  • Maintain organization of parts pulled for work orders, and assist with placement of new parts.

    	

  • Perform cycle counts, utilize account codes, and rotate stock for motors, gearboxes, and pumps.

    	

  • Ensure all items are properly stored in the warehouse and Connex units.

Equipment Operation



    	

  • Safely operate a forklift and perform required equipment inspections.

    	

  • Move items off skids using proper strapping techniques.

Receiving & Stocking



    	

  • Assist with receiving shipments and verifying accuracy of deliveries.

    	

  • Participate in organizing, labeling, and storing incoming parts and equipment.

Safety & Workplace Standards



    	

  • Participate in daily safety meetings and demonstrate knowledge of proper fire extinguisher use.

    	

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse work area.

    	

  • Adhere to all safety and compliance guidelines.

Teamwork & Work Culture



    	

  • Exhibit a positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.

    	

  • Adapt and respond effectively to changing work priorities.



Qualifications



    	

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, with the ability to navigate inventory management systems.

    	

  • Experience operating a forklift and knowledge of equipment inspection protocols.

    	

  • Basic knowledge of common warehouse parts (motors, pumps, bearings, valves) preferred.

    	

  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.

    	

  • Commitment to maintaining safety standards in a warehouse environment.
