Join our team as a Transportation Service Specialist!Are you someone who thrives on keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes while delivering exceptional service on the front lines?As a Transportation Service Specialist, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring our transportation team is always safe, reliable, and ready to deliver an outstanding guest experience.Job Purpose:Provides administrative and operational support to the Transportation Administrative Assistant and Transportation leadership by assisting with fleet coordination, vehicle documentation, maintenance tracking, inventory monitoring, and departmental operations to ensure efficient transportation services.Job Duties and Responsibilities:(Note: Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at the sole discretion of Sycuan Management at any time)
Consistently provide guest service to internal and external guests following Sycuan's Guest Service program.Assists with fleet coordination and vehicle readiness by helping schedule routine inspections and maintenance appointments, tracking vehicle registrations, permits, and licenses, maintaining vehicle and cart logbooks for accuracy and completion, monitoring maintenance needs, coordinating with mechanics regarding repair updates, and ensuring vehicles and transportation equipment are properly cleaned and organized.Supports transportation inventory and recordkeeping activities by assisting with tracking vehicle parts, supplies, and equipment inventory, maintaining maintenance and repair documentation, preparing reports and spreadsheets, verifying repair invoices and records for accuracy, and coordinating supply requests with the Transportation Administrative Assistant.Provides operational and administrative support to Transportation leadership by assisting with scheduling, maintaining department records and files, supporting safety meeting coordination, preparing departmental documentation, communicating transportation-related updates, and reporting operational concerns or compliance issues to Transportation leadership.Assists with Team Member transportation coordination by helping maintain transportation schedules and route information, communicating approved transportation updates to team members, and supporting transportation-related logistics as assigned. May require occasional driving and operation of transportation-related equipment.
Job Specifications:Education and Experience:Essential:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.2 years' experience managing transportation and/or service-related activitiesHospitality experience
Desirable:
California CDLGaming experience
Skills and Knowledge:Essential:
