Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and supply chain industry , is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team in Maplewood, MN . As a Procurement Specialist, you will be part of the Supply Chain Management department supporting strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and collaborative spirit, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Maplewood, MN (Hybrid, 4 days onsite)
Pay Range: $30.00/HR + Benefits
Contract Duration: 12-Months W2 Contract, potential to extend
Job Function:
- Create and execute a best-in-class supply chain strategy across the AMERICAS for Converting & Pack Out Services to drive supplier consolidation and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned with procurement cost, cash, and growth objectives.
- Build and nurture strong partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders including Manufacturing, R&D, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain Operations.
- Lead supplier selection, negotiations, and manage complex supplier relationships to ensure optimal service and cost efficiency.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service levels, speed, and cost-effectiveness through data analysis and stakeholder collaboration.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related fields.
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
- Ability to analyze procurement data and develop actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams.
- Knowledge of supply chain processes, vendor management, and contract negotiations.
