Job Description

JOB TITLE: TRANSPORTATION SUPERVISOR

QUALIFICATIONS: 1. High school graduate or equivalent (GED);

Associates/Technical degree preferred.

2. Minimum three (3) years successful experience in a leadership position where the focus is on managing and maintaining the school transportation fleet.

3. Possess and maintain a valid Alabama Bus Drivers license and commercial driver's license (CDL) with P/S endorsement

4. Utilize transportation routing GPS software and other applicable technology.

5. Experience in Cummings Insite, Allison, and Wabco and Bendix diagnostics computer software.

REPORTS TO: Transportation Coordinator

JOB GOAL: To supervise the daily activities of vehicle repair and maintenance to ensure proper performance and safety of all SCBOE vehicles and equipment.
