Owns outcomes in a defined area.Logistics Management: Oversee and coordinate all logistics operations, including planning, implementation, and monitoring of supply chain processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goodsSupplier and Carrier Coordination: Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth logistics operations. This includes negotiating contracts and rates to optimize costsInventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and manage stock to ensure that products are available when needed while minimizing excess inventoryData Analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify trends, improve processes, and implement strategies that enhance operational efficiency and reduce costsProblem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues that arise during the transportation process, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policiesDocumentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed logistics documentation, including shipping records, inventory reports, and compliance documentationTeam Leadership: Supervise and mentor logistics staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that team members meet performance goals and adhere to best practicesProject Implementation: Lead logistics projects aimed at improving efficiency, such as implementing new technologies or processes to streamline operationsQualificationsStrong organizational and analytical skills to manage complex logistics operations.Excellent communication and negotiation skills to work effectively with suppliers and carriers.Proficiency in logistics software and tools for tracking shipments and managing inventory.Problem-solving abilities to address challenges in the supply chain effectively.SAP experience is greatly valuedAdditional InformationThe expected salary range for this position is $30 per hour.
