PRODUCTION MANAGER - Childrens Sportswear

Established Children's fashion apparel company in NYC manufacturing Knitwear, and Denim is seeking a Production Manager or Senior Production Coordinator to join their team. Partner with design, technical design sourcing and product development team. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include communication with factories managing production, f/o research and development related to each brand by working closely with the overseas factories, working with design to manage each style sample needs, ordering and tracking all development samples requests from overseas, partner with cross functional teams to cost engineer garments and managing product lifestyle from concept through pre-production . Must have excellent follow through skills and proficient in Excel. Manage the production process with overseas factories including placing fabric during the development stage of the product life style Implement and monitor WIP reports seasonal time/action calendars in order to achieve required delivery Track all fabric development and trim orders utilizing WIP reports Daily communication with overseas suppliers on all production details, and costing Allocate and follow up on product development packages sent to overseas factories for sampling and approvals Responsible for style set up and order management Reviewing pre-production and Top of production samples to confirm that they match all approved submittals. Communicate with factories on a daily basis monitoring seasonal time and action calendar to ensure deliveries Communicate with factories on a daily basis monitoring seasonal time and action calendar to ensure deliveries Skills: Bachelor's degree 4 plus years in production in a wholesale apparel environment with Children's Apparel Fabric knowledge with Denim, Knits, and woven's Proficient in Microsoft Office, Advanced Excel Fast paced, high energy, and multi-tasking capabilities Salary- $100,000-$150,000
