PRODUCTION MANAGER -Costing and Sourcing Specialist

Salary: $95,000+ An established apparel company in New York City is looking for a skilled Production and Costing specialist to join the team. Experience working with Walmart and Clubs is a plus. If you're passionate about apparel production and have strong costing skills we want to hear from you! Negotiate minimums, course pricing, and surcharges for all raw materials, trims, and finished garments with vendors to achieve or surpass profit margins. Negotiate and analyze costing meeting margin requirements Collaborate with the design and technical teams to review Product Development packages and suggest cost-effective alternatives while ensuring design integrity is maintained. Facilitate communication regarding all processes for private label orders for Walmart, Sam's Club, and off-price accounts. Oversee and address all aspects related to costing, quality, and production. Manage vendors, and suppliers. Input detailed costing requests into various Excel spreadsheets. Skills Able to handle heavy data entry into various excel spreadsheets throughout the day. Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must. Must be organized and have the ability and drive to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize are a must. Proficiency with applications (Advanced Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook) Understanding of the production process and lead-times
