Job Description We are seeking a Procurement Specialist II to support our manufacturing and supply chain operations through the effective execution of direct material procurement activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring production continuity by coordinating material forecasting, supplier communication, and procurement reporting. In addition, this role will support contract management activities across all locations, ensuring alignment with established terms, compliance requirements, and overall procurement strategy.
The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with Production, Supply Chain, Transportation, Sales Centers, and external suppliers to align demand, inventory, and service levels, while supporting procurement governance, contract management activities, and overall operational discipline.Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Execute and coordinate direct material procurement activities supporting manufacturing operations
Manage raw material forecasting inputs in collaboration with Supply Chain and Production teams
Serve as a primary point of contact for direct material suppliers, supporting structured supplier communication and performance tracking
Prepare and maintain direct procurement reporting, including purchase order and requisition tracking
Support inventory management activities, including cycle counts, aged inventory reviews, and material transitions
Participate in crossfunctional production and supply chain meetings to support alignment and issue resolution
Assist with new product introductions (NPI) and material change management
Support procurement compliance, documentation, and continuous process improvement initiatives

Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Experience in direct materials procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing operations preferred
Working knowledge of contract management principles
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate reports, and support decision-making
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with ERP systems, procurement tools, and data reporting platforms
Collaborative mindset with a strong attention to detail and process discipline
