Warehouse - Material Handler / Order Puller

Key Responsibilities, Duties, Functions:

Manages pick ticket orders

Pulls warehouse items from racking shelves and cantilevers based on number, size, color, quantity and quality requirements

Ensures that orders are accurate

Helps maintain inventory accuracy and reports inventory discrepancies

Properly packs orders, including shrink wrap, banding etc.

Stages items correctly for delivery, shipment or customer pick-up

May load vehicles or trailers for delivery and customer pick-up

May assist in material replenishment

Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization

Supports a high level of health and safety standards

Performs other general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred

1-2 years previous warehouse experience preferred

Previous fork-lift experienced preferred

Regularly lift and/or move 10-50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.

Good communication, organizational, time management and mathematical skills

Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required
