Pro Resources is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager for a growing manufacturing company in the Angola, IN area. This is a direct hire opportunity with a stable and well-established organization that values teamwork, long-term employees, and continuous improvement. We are looking for a strategic and hands-on purchasing professional who can lead domestic and global procurement efforts while helping drive cost savings, supplier performance, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies focused on total cost of ownership (TCO)
• Source, evaluate, and manage domestic and international suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Forecast purchasing needs and help optimize inventory levels
• Analyze market trends and adjust purchasing strategies as needed
• Lead cost-saving initiatives and support pricing/costing projects
• Maintain procurement records and reporting dashboards
• Lead and mentor purchasing team members
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support overall business goals
• Identify and minimize supply chain risks
• Ensure compliance with company standards and international trade regulations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 7+ years of domestic and international purchasing/procurement experience
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience
• Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement software
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Office skills
