Job Opportunity: Material Handler (Shipping)

Position Overview

  • Location: Melville, NY

  • Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

  • Schedule: [Insert Shift, e.g., Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM]

  • Status: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare products for outbound shipment with high accuracy.

  • Loading/Unloading: Safely move materials manually or using pallet jacks and hand trucks.

  • Inventory Support: Assist with cycle counts and ensure stock is organized and labeled correctly.

  • Documentation: Prepare shipping labels and verify packing slips against physical inventory.

  • Communication: Coordinate with team members and supervisors to meet daily shipping deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • Skills: Must be fluent in both English and Spanish to facilitate communication within our diverse team.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.

  • Reliability: track record of punctuality and consistent attendance.

  • Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, or material handling role is preferred but not required.

  • Tech Savvy: Basic computer skills for printing labels and entering data.
