Procurement Specialist II
A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify.
Performs advanced procurement and acquisition analysis by collecting customer requirements, identifying procurement issues, and improving sourcing strategy, reporting, and data integrity to meet mission needs.
Compensation & Benefits:
Estimated Starting Salary Range for Procurement Specialist II: Pay commensurate with experience.

Procurement Specialist II Responsibilities Include:
Collecting, validating, and documenting customer requirements to support timely procurement actions
Identifying procurement issues, risks, and constraints that may affect acquisition strategy and execution
Analyzing and troubleshooting acquisition requirement packages to ensure completeness and traceability
Identifying procurement data sources and improving methods for procurement strategy, analysis, and reporting
Assisting in the development and design of reports and dashboards to support acquisition analysis needs
Supporting the development of procedures, manuals, job aids, and other materials to improve procurement systems and workflows
Coordinating with stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies, clarify requirements, and support decision-making
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Procurement Specialist II Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)-Preferred
4+ years of experience supporting procurement, acquisition, contract support, or purchasing operations-Required
Experience collecting requirements and producing procurement/acquisition reports for stakeholders
Strong ability to analyze requirements, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to learn and use government/proprietary procurement systems and reporting tools as required
Strong writing skills for SOPs, manuals, and process documentation
Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
