Full-Time | Onsite (Monday–Thursday, 10-Hour Flexible Schedule)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Purchasing Analyst – Finished Goods to support strategic sourcing, operational procurement, supplier management, and inventory planning within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining supply continuity, optimizing inventory levels, supporting customer fill rates, and ensuring on-time delivery performance through proactive supply chain coordination and analytics.
The ideal candidate will have experience in purchasing, logistics, supplier forecasting, ERP data management, and cross-functional collaboration. Exposure to global sourcing, import/export compliance, and advanced Excel analytics is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities Purchasing & Supply Chain Operations- Manage day-to-day purchasing and supply requirements for assigned commodities and finished goods
- Support strategic sourcing initiatives and supplier development efforts both domestically and globally
- Monitor upstream supply chain risks and proactively address potential disruptions impacting inventory and customer demand
- Coordinate supplier forecasting and production planning activities
- Support customer fill rate objectives through proactive vendor management and strategic expediting
- Ensure timely inbound deliveries while maintaining balanced inventory levels and minimizing excess stock
- Partner cross-functionally to support inventory optimization and supply continuity initiatives
- Maintain and strengthen supplier relationships through ongoing communication and performance management
- Support cost reduction initiatives through sourcing strategies, negotiations, and landed cost analysis
- Analyze freight, tariff, duty, and total supply chain costs to support operational decisions
- Maintain ERP system accuracy related to supplier information, pricing, inventory levels, lead times, and planning parameters
- Analyze supplier and logistics performance metrics including cost, quality, and on-time delivery
- Utilize advanced Excel skills for reporting, forecasting, and data-driven decision making
- Partner with Sales, Operations, Logistics, and Planning teams regarding demand changes, supply constraints, and delivery timelines
- Support trade compliance processes and documentation related to import/export activities
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives across purchasing and supply chain functions
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Operations, or related field OR equivalent relevant experience
- 5–10 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Logistics
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with ERP systems and maintaining data accuracy
- Global sourcing or international logistics experience
- Exposure to import/export compliance and trade regulations
- Project management experience (PMP certification is a plus)
- Manufacturing or distribution industry background
- Experience with supplier forecasting and inventory planning
