Dumpling Production ManagerReports to: Director of OperationsLocation: Fabrika Production FacilityClassification: Part-time HourlyPosition SummaryThe Production Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of a small-scale dumpling production facility. This is a hands-on role requiring direct involvement in all aspects of production, including protein fabrication, dumpling production. The position also oversees a small team, manages inventory and ordering, coordinates fulfillment, and handles basic administrative functions including invoicing and recordkeeping. The Production Manager ensures consistent product quality, efficient workflow, and adherence to all food safety standards.Core ResponsibilitiesProduction & OperationsExecute all aspects of dumpling production, including protein breakdown, mixing, forming, and packagingOperate, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipmentMonitor output for consistency, yield, and quality controlMaintain a clean, organized, and food-safe production environmentTeam ManagementSupervise and work alongside a small production teamCreate and manage weekly staff schedulesTrain employees on production methods, equipment use, and sanitation standardsConduct regular employee performance reviews and provide ongoing feedbackAddress workflow issues and maintain accountability on the production floorInventory, Ordering & FulfillmentTrack inventory levels of all raw materials and packagingPlace orders and receive deliveries from vendorsCoordinate production with order volume and sales demandExecute and manage outbound deliveries up to three times per weekEnsure accurate packing and timely fulfillment of all ordersAdministrative ResponsibilitiesGenerate and manage invoices using QuickBooks Online (QBO)Scan and maintain organized records of invoices and vendor documentationTrack orders and maintain clear internal communication regarding availability and lead timesFood Safety & ComplianceEnforce HACCP and all applicable food safety and sanitation standardsEnsure all required logs and documentation are completed accurately and consistentlyMaintain compliance across all areas of productionQualifications2 4+ years of experience in food production, kitchen operations, or manufacturingDemonstrated experience in team supervision within a production environmentExperience operating food production equipment Strong organizational and time management skillsWorking knowledge of inventory systems, ordering processes, and basic bookkeeping (QBO preferred)Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periodsValid driver s license requiredNotesThis is a working manager role with daily production responsibilitiesResponsibilities may evolve as the operation growsEmployment is at-will
