Core Responsibilities:

Supports Materials and Production Planner

Coach/Mentor the staff

Manages department training matrix

Ensures sustainable implementation and the continuous optimization and improvements of all processes in the responsible area

Ensures compliance with global/regional standard processes and regulations

Reduces daily business SC costs and ensures a high delivery performance to all customers

Optimizes and manages the stocks of stored material; ensures physical stock compliance through accurate SAP postings and values

Ensures the usage of standard SAP transactions

Handles SAP Idoc's or manual call offs and ensures the elimination of root cause in case of nonconforming Idoc data

Ensures the sales and operations planning

Ensures the evaluation of customer call offs vs contracted volume

Ensures the monitoring and maintenance of production capacity (short, mid-term)

Ensures production scheduling in SAP

Ensures the run up of new projects with out material shortages and the end of production according to the global standard process

Implements operational SC targets and initiates countermeasures in case of deviations

Inventory management

Avoids special freights and ensure the compliance with transport cost budget

Ensures a high customer satisfaction and avoid customer violations (complaints)

Ensures compliance with all operations SCM targets

Ensuring the accurate SCM reporting

Manages Customer PDCA's, 8D

Manages Special Freight PDCA's

Manages Cycle Count PDCA's, Inventory accuracy

Immediate escalation to Plant SCM for any deviations to plan or budget

Implements the machine capacity planning tool for the production lines and ensures the accurate usage; initiates promptly countermeasures in case of production capacity issues (Only Component Plants)5. Ensures in the responsible area if the SC related data are administered correctly in SAP; monitors the SAP parameters, quality of SC master data and ensures faultless MRP and initiates countermeasures in case of mistakes

DQI Monitor

Combined with Mater data administrator

Transfers local operational SC processes into SAP and ensures that all interfaces are met

Implements and ensures that customer requirements are met

EMFOR

EMJIT

Conducts training reg. regional customer manual in the plant and ensures that the planners work accordingly

Reduces working capital according to BOSLE principles; increases delivery services

Manages the stocks days on hand (finish, raw, semi finish material)

Manages Working Capital

Monitors / Reviews production build schedules

Conducts SAP reports to track material and produced parts

Avoids material shortages and manages bottle necks in Supply Chains to increase the delivery performance to the customer

Conducts inventory cross checks

Inventory Control

Cycle Count/ Inventory Lead

COGI

Promotes a respectful work environment and recruits, develops and retains (functionally and disciplinarily reporting) maintain a qualified, motivated and productive workforce. Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in economics, Mechanical Engineering or Operations Management, advanced education preferred

Years of working experience: 5 years' experience in Materials/Logistics, inventory management experience, customer service experience, profound SAP knowledge required, some leadership responsibility

Years of industry experience: 5 years of automotive experience

Certifications: APICS Certification preferred
