- Improve communication and information flow between sales, customer experience, materials, purchasing, and production planning
- Streamline order release and expediting processes
- Schedule orders across multiple production plants, including Waunakee, Charlotte, and McKinney
- Monitor orders for production plants, including Waunakee, Charlotte, and McKinney to make sure parts are on order and orders are moving through production
- Support Customer Experience and Sales by providing alternative solutions when parts are unavailable or capacity is limited
- Track, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Be an active participant in the company's suggestion, quality, efficiency, and cost-saving programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of Nord Experience preferred. Preferably in customer service, sales, materials, logistics, or production scheduling. Master Scheduling Experience and APICS certification would be a plus.
- Skills and Key Attributes: Strong understanding of the sales, orders, materials and production processes.
- Excellent knowledge with SAP product configuration, with and emphasis in Bill of Materials. Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of methods (verbal, written, etc.) and work within a team setting. Must have excellent attention to detail, a strong mechanical aptitude, and strong computer and reporting capabilities. Thorough understanding of Nord Gear Corporation's operating and manufacturing system including order entry and MRP/ERP systems.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a desk for up to 8 hours/day.
