This position is in the Central Receiving department of a Joint Commission accredited and CMS certified Psychiatric hospital owned and operated by the West Virginia Department of Health Facilities. This position orders, receives, records, stores, and delivers supplies, materials, and/or equipment throughout the various departments of the hospital. Responsibilities also include assigning inventory numbers and conducting inventory of all equipment and maintaining accountability of supply usage, including medical supplies. As needed, this position may prepare cost estimates for materials and equipment for various projects as directed by the Supervisor of Central Receiving. This is a tobacco free facility. Chosen applicants must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in Agency and Bureau policies. Must be able to work holidays and weekends. As needed, mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position. Candidate must successfully pass a background screening. 0512P02110 Minimum Qualifications Education: High school diploma or the equivalent. Experience: One (1) year of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the purchasing, receiving, inventorying, or shipping goods.
