Who You Are

As a member of the Lockheed Martin, Global Supply Chain, Subcontract Management Team, and as an Material Program Manager you will impact major complex procurements of different contract types and will have continued interaction with Lockheed Martin program management and LM SCM Upper Leadership. Youll need to operate autonomously and have the business acumen for interaction with the strategic supplier leadership chains.
In addition, Youll be looked upon to help guide and mentor other members of the team with their continued learning and training.

What You Will Be Doing

The Material Program Manager, manages subordinate teams overseeing subcontractors or critical subcontracted systems for all contract types and programs, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company policies. Directs and manages all costs, quality, schedule, financial, and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and is required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system. Develops sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs, execution, and risk management. Acts as the main focal point to the subcontractor and program management office. Responsible for and directs all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, transition to program startup, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution, and contract closeout. Makes informed decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor. Establishes milestone objectives to manage performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications. Leads a cross-functional team, normally composed of engineers, quality, and procurement personnel, to ensure successful subcontract execution and program delivery.

This position requires US Citizenship and is located at a facility that requires special access.

An active US Government Secret Security Clearance is required to be considered for this role.

AeroSCM

- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university

- Experience developing highly innovative solutions to problems of unusual complexity

- Experience to building relationships with functional stakeholders

- Experienced with SAP/ERP4C

- Experience representing Global Supply Chain at CAM, MCF, and Program reviews- Ability to manage impacts to material cost and program schedule

- Ability to establish and execute acquisition strategies to support program objectives while maintaining procurement system integrity

- Ability to conduct risk, issues, and opportunities management

- Manage competing demands between aggressive program schedule milestones and functional compliance responsibilities

- Advanced written and verbal communications
