Operations and Production Manager

We are seeking a high-caliber Department Manager to take full ownership of our 6-person Wide Format production and installation team. • Adobe & RIP Proficiency: Must have a full grasp of design-to-print workflows to troubleshoot department bottlenecks.
  
  
• Decision Making: Proven ability to handle hiring, performance reviews, and daily operational problem-solving.
  
  
• Player-Coach Mentality: Willingness to assist in production, customer service, or installations during "quick turn" events or large-scale projects.
  
  
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Line Management: Directly supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team including Press Operators, CSRs, Pre-Press, and Installers.
  
  
• Business Operations: Manage workflow strategy to maintain a 4-day standard turn time while coordinating a 2–3 week installation backlog.
  
  
• Materials Management: Maintain complete control of inventory and perform equipment maintenance to minimize waste.
  
  
• Quality & Compliance: Establish quality check standards and manage a formal "non-conformance" recording system.
  
  
• Budget & Growth: Partner with the VP of Sales to track productivity and drive year-over-year sales growth.
