Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Manager is critical in ensuring the availability of materials and components required for production, they are responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain processes, including sourcing, purchasing, logistics, transportation, and inventory management. The Supply Chain Manager aligns their leadership style with Master s core values of relentlessly pursuing excellence, operating with high integrity, communicating with a positive attitude, and is innovative and solution-oriented.

Essential Functions:

Develops and implements Supply Chain strategies, optimizing inventory management, and enhancing supplier relationships

Identifies, evaluates, and negotiates with suppliers to secure the best terms and ensure a reliable supply chain

Tracks and manages Supply Chain KPI s - drives alignment and integration of processes to drive cost savings, increase efficiency, and deliver consistent results

Responsible for Inventory Record Accuracy (IRA)

Implements inventory strategies where needed to increase turns, manage on hand inventory levels, and coordinate with production and warehouse teams

Uses lean manufacturing methodologies to drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase production and reduce costs

Applies Kaizen principles to identify areas for continuous improvement and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes, reduce costs and improve efficiency

Implements 5S methodology to organize and maintain a clean, efficient workplace

Supports established safety and health standards to keep the organization accident-free

Collaborates effectively with Production, Logistics, Purchasing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, Maintenance, and Safety to achieve operational excellence and ensure alignment with organizational goals

Communicates expectations, measures, and assesses employee performance, and provides coaching and development opportunities

Drives initiatives to enhance employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion within the plant

Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversees Supply Chain to include purchasing, inventory, production control, logistics, and material handling.

Work Environment: Manufacturing Plant Environment: 100%

Personal Protective Equipment recommended and/or required on production floor:

Safety glasses, or prescription safety glasses that meet ANSI Z 87.1 (provided by Master s)

Hearing Protection that meets ANSI S 12.6 (provided by Master s)

Steel-toed shoes with anti-slip soles that meets ASTM F2413 (provided by Master s)

Required Education/Experience/Certifications:

BS/BA Degree or higher in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field

5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management or Procurement/Purchasing and Sourcing

5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

Utilization of MRP/ERP software and applications such as Sage, SAP, Oracle, or Syteline to manage and optimize supply chain operations

Working knowledge of 5S and Kaizen methods

ISO 9001 Experience

Thorough knowledge of OSHA and regulatory requirements

Professional demeanor with a cooperative attitude, capable of maintaining positive working relationships and handling sensitive situations with diplomacy

Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proven track record of managing tasks accurately and responsibly

Strong problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders

Strong negotiation, creative critical thinking, and decision-making skills

Advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Education/Experience/Certifications :

Advanced degree such as a Master s in Business Administration (MBA), Supply Chain Management, or a related field

Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM), or APICS Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred

Expert in 5S methodology with demonstrated experience in organizing and maintaining a clean, efficient workplace

Expert in Kaizen principles and practice, including the ability to identify continuous improvement opportunities and implement effective solutions

Experience in an ISO 9001:2015 environment

Experience within the commercial vehicle/automotive industry and understanding its procurement practices and requirements

Proven track record of managing supply chain operations, including experience in a senior or leadership role.

Expertise in developing and executing complex sourcing strategies tailored to commercial vehicle needs

Advanced skills in negotiating with and managing relationships with major suppliers and vendors in the commercial vehicle sector

Strong background in cost analysis and management and achieving cost savings without compromising quality

Bilingual: English/Spanish

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required to vendor facilities
