Operations Manager - ATS Logistics

This opportunity is within ATS Logistics, Inc. the Operations Manager isresponsible for assisting in day-to-day operations, establishing strategies andimplementing plans to increase dept productivity while producing qualityservice. Focus will be on leadership of an assigned area to guide towards theachievement of maximum profitability and growth consistent with company visionand values.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Increase revenue from business tendered to ATS Logistics from assets andsalesWork closely with the Customer Service, Sales, and Sales Managers in thedivisions you are supportingTrack revenue for the group to ensure growthSupport group to make quality business decisionsManage time-off for the groupManage coverage when someone is absentCoordinate claims, bills, etc.

Qualifications:

Higher education (i.e. two- or four-year degree) preferred but not required2-5 years previous transportation experience preferred but not requiredSelf-starter with a strong entrepreneurial spiritStrong computer proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary of this position is $50,000 - $75,000 with additionalopportunity to earn incentive. Base salary offered is determined by relevantexperience, education, certifications, and geographic location as compared toothers doing substantially similar work.
