Receiver - 1st Shift

Receiver Location: Lennox, SD Compensation: $19.50 per hour - paid weekly Schedule: 1st Shift | 6:30am-3:00pm | Monday-Friday Job Type: Temporary or Temp-to-hire About the Opportunity Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Receivers for a leading equipment manufacturer located in Lennox, SD. What You'll Do as the Receiver: Receive incoming materials and verify quantities, quality, and condition against documentation Safely unload trucks and trailers using forklifts or other material-handling equipment Organize, stage, and store materials to ensure timely availability for production Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and inventory tracking systems Identify and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies promptly Communicate effectively with purchasing, production, and vendors as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving and storage area Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and material-handling guidelines What You Need to Bring to the Receiver Role: Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or material handling environments preferred but not required Forklift or crane experience, or willingness to obtain certification Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and documentation Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Safety-focused mindset with adherence to policies and procedures Ability to lift materials up to 50 pounds regularly and stand or walk throughout the shift with or without reasonable accommodations Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and moderate noise Why You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay , access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
