We are seeking a reliable, compassionate Transportation Associate to provide safe and courteous transportation services for residents. This role is essential in supporting residents independence, ensuring timely attendance at medical appointments, community outings, and internal transfers between buildings.

Key ResponsibilitiesSafely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapies, community outings, and between the two care buildings
Assist residents in and out of vehicles, including those using wheelchairs, walkers, or other mobility aids
Secure wheelchairs and ensure passenger safety at all times
Maintain transportation schedules and coordinate with nursing and administrative staff
Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
Keep vehicles clean, fueled, and in good working condition
Provide friendly, respectful interaction with residents, families, and staff
Follow all traffic laws and organizational safety protocols
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
State Tested Nursing Assistant Preferred
Experience driving wheelchair-accessible vehicles preferred
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience working with seniors or in healthcare settings is an asset
Ability to assist residents with mobility needs (lifting, bending, securing equipment)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Compassionate, patient, and dependable
Full-time (flexible scheduling may be required)
Occasional evenings or weekends based on appointment needs
