This position requires in-office attendance during the training period. After training is completed, the role will transition to in-office attendance once per month.

The 3rd Shift Operations Coordinator is responsible for executing essential operational tasks that support freight movement while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. This role follows established company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide shipment status updates and operational support to customers and carriers
- Create and manage transportation orders and activate shipments in internal systems
- Build, assign, and schedule loads, including appointment coordination
- Track and trace shipments, entering events and updates accurately and timely
- Monitor task boards and assigned email queues to respond to operational requests
- Document events according to SOPs and escalate issues when appropriate
- Validate load data to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and customer standards
- Follow through on customer and carrier requests to ensure timely resolution and satisfaction
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on team or regional needs
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior customer service experience
- Ability to work third shift hours, including evenings and/or weekends as required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined procedures
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Previous experience in a call center, logistics, or operations-focused environment
- Demonstrated communication, time management, and prioritization skills
- Experience working in roles requiring accuracy, documentation, and data entry
