Production Manager
Department: Full-Service
Reports To: Operations Manager
Status: Exempt
Description: The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily production activities
to ensure dismantling and processing operations are completed safely, efficiently, and in
accordance with company standards. This role manages production staff, monitors workflow,
and ensures production goals and quality expectations are consistently met.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Oversee daily dismantling and production activities to ensure production targets are met.
Coordinate employee job assignments and workflow to maximize efficiency and
productivity.
Maintain a visible presence in production areas to monitor operations and support staff.
Monitor employee productivity, labor utilization, and overall production output.
Identify workflow challenges and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
Track production performance metrics and support achievement of facility targets.
Collaborate with the Operations Manager and General Manager to establish and monitor
performance goals.
Ensure production areas remain organized, safe, and conducive to efficient operations.
Assist in monitoring and maintaining production equipment, including lifts, gantries, and
fluid evacuation systems.
Promote preventative maintenance and coordinate equipment repairs when necessary.
Provide daily supervision, leadership, and guidance to production staff.
Support employee training, onboarding, performance feedback, and development.
Enforce safety policies, promote hazard awareness, and maintain a strong safety culture.
Conduct vehicle and production audits to ensure dismantling quality and adherence to
company standards.
Communicate production updates, staffing needs, and operational concerns to leadership
and collaborate with other departments to support facility operations.
Completes tasks assigned by the General Manager and Operations Manager quickly and
efficiently.
Qualifications:
The role requires strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple
priorities in a fast-paced operational environment. Candidates should possess strong
communication skills and be able to work effectively with employees across departments.
Experience with process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives is also

Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance
instructions, and procedure manuals.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of
education and experience. Experience in automotive recycling, production operations, or a
related industry is preferred.
Certificates and Licenses:
A valid driver s license is required, along with forklift and front-end loader certification, or the
ability to obtain these certifications through company-provided training.

must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. For heavier objects lifting devices and/or
assistance is required.
