Electrical Procurement Specialist

Overview Egan Company is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Electrical Procurement Specialist within the Electrical group to support long term business growth with new and existing include but are not limited to Material Procurement and ManagementPurchase and expedite materials for projects and products to internal customers field leaders project managers estimators warehouse and managementAssist PMs and Field Leaders with material selection and supplier sourcingAssist with procurement process improvementsManage material shortages and work with teams to support the business needsMaintain supplier relationships and partnershipsAssist with vendor agreements and pricing recordsAssist with surplus material returnSupplier Communication and ImprovementAssist the Procurement Manager in improving quoting and procurement processes through procurement softwareAttend regular technical meetings with suppliers for updatesInformation DisseminationMonitor manufacturer bulletinsupdates and disseminate information to teamsProvide supply chain updates to the teams as necessaryPurchase Order ManagementAssist with the daily flow of material ordersProvide electrical commodity purchase order assistanceLean Construction and ProfitabilityParticipate in supporting lean construction initiatives as they relate to purchasingEvaluate purchasing data to maximize and improve our purchasing strategiesRequirements Minimum of two years within the electrical construction or distribution industryExisting strong and trusted relationships with key industry suppliers of electrical commodities and equipmentExperience with Remarcable procurement software or other procurement software is a plusQualifications Strong knowledge of materials and products used in the electrical construction industryProficiency in using standard office computer programs such as Google Suite Word and ExcelDesire and ability to thrive in a rapid and detail oriented environment when interacting with a variety of co workers and customersStrong organizational skillsSelf starter who conducts duties with urgency and commitment to exceptional customer serviceAbility to effectively communicate with others both written and verballyAbility to stand or sit for extended periods within the office or occasionally on a project site or in the warehouseWorking Conditions Performance of
