Dispatch Logistics Specialist

Dispatch Logistics Specialist Chester County, PA Full-Time | 3.5 Day workweek - 12 Hour Shifts |

A well-established distribution company in Chester County is seeking a Dispatch Logistics Specialist to support daily transportation operations across a fleet of truck (CDL) drivers. This role works closely with drivers, third-party carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch company drivers and third-party carriers

• Monitor driver routes and provide status updates

• Communicate delays or issues to internal teams and customers

• Assist drivers with unexpected situations (dock closures, breakdowns, load issues, etc.)

• Coordinate with shipping and yard teams to ensure timely trailer loading

• Support backhauls, fleet coordination, and general transportation activities

Qualifications:

• 13 years of logistics or transportation experience preferred

• Strong communication skills (phone and email)

• Ability to prioritize and solve problems independently

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
