- Responsible for strategically managing the department in compliance with company policies and vision Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Meet goals in 5 key areas of measurement (A.K.A. 5 Points of Excellence) to include Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory Accuracy as each relates to activities in the Replenishment Department.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Assume/adopt a resource/servant leadership style/approach in which the goal is to properly use authority to lift constraints/remove roadblocks preventing associates from realizing their full potential.
- Regularly meet with team members to discuss metric results including discussions on positive outcomes and improvements needed to reach higher levels of performance in all key areas.
- Help develop and maintain 5s and security standards.
- Embrace the companys open-door policy to allow all employees to voice concerns for such issues to be easily resolved while in a minor state.
- Be proactive in developing associates and understanding their skills and strengths and utilize such information to assign them to specific lines/teams to result in good chemistry between team members required to reach the highest possible performance levels across all assigned lines.
- Must be flexible to work the hours required of this position, particularly in peak season including overtime and weekend duties.

- Directly supervises 15+ employees in the inventory department.
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Responsible for maintaining and enforcing a clean and safe work area.
- May be required to work in other departments and local worksites as the workload permits.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as needed.
- Must work well under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, or three to five years related supervisory experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/distribution center, production and/or manufacturing industry experience
- Demonstrated results and leadership qualities for managing teams and motivational and effective people management skills are essential
- Experience in team management, talent development, and coaching team members to succeed
- Must exercise judgment to make high level decisions that will result in a positive impact to the team and company
- Excellent professional level written and verbal communication skills - ability to interface and communicate effectively with multiple functional groups, geographic regions, different levels of internal and external client organizations
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, other departments, and interact with various work behavior styles

Work Environment/Physical Requirements
This position operates in a warehouse, mechanical, product handling, high output environment. Frequently works near moving mechanical parts, packaging, distribution, and/or replication equipment. Regularly works in changing temperatures and humid conditions. Frequently exposed to chemicals, fumes and particles, moderate noise and vibration. Occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. Personal protective equipment in certain areas is mandatory, including, but not limited to, sound and sight protection, masks, gloves, and boots. The Company will provide the required protective equipment to the employee.
When performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to verbally communicate, converse with, and exchange information with others. The employee may be required to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time; frequently move about inside the facility to converse with co-workers and monitor production; may need to position oneself to move between tight, high, or low spaces. The person in this position must operate a computer and may operate other office machinery such as a copy machine, printer, calculator; and pull/retrieve/file documents in a filing cabinet. The employee must maneuver, move, and/or transport up to 30 pounds for short distances. Occasionally ascends/descends stairs to traverse from one part of the production line to another. Frequently required to handle/position objects and operate machinery, tools and/or controls. Must be able to handle delicate parts without damaging. Seeing abilities required by this job include detecting/identifying/recognizing/inspecting objects close to the employee, within a distance, peripherally, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
