Our client, a leader in logistics, is seeking a Dock Worker to join their team. As a Dock Worker, you will be part of the logistics department supporting efficient shipping and receiving operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Dock Worker

Location: Cudahy, WI

Pay Range: $20.00 - $23.00

Shift: 2nd Shift

What's the Job?

  • Load and unload freight from trucks and containers using forklifts or clamp trucks.
  • Accurately pick orders and prepare them for shipping, ensuring that all items are correctly labeled and documented.
  • Maintain an organized dock area, ensuring that all materials are stored properly and safely.
  • Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage order fulfillment processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate shipping and receiving operations.

What's Needed?

  • Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
  • Experience with order picking techniques and materials handling practices.
  • Familiarity with shipping and receiving procedures in a warehouse environment.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts, clamp trucks, or similar warehouse machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order fulfillment.
