We are looking for a IT Procurement Specialist to join our team. This position will be a contract and onsite in Miramar, Florida.
Due to the specific legal and contractual requirements associated with this position, this role will be direct employment with CAI. This position does not offer work authorization sponsorship now or in the future.
What Youll Do
Identify and evaluate suppliers for a wide range of categories (e.g., hotel, F&B, technical, technology, protective materials)
Secure favorable terms, pricing, and service levels
Understand contract terms, service level agreements (SLAs), and vendor compliance
What You'll Need
Required:
2-3+ years' experience with sourcing IT hardware/software, technical equipment, and services
Ability to analyze costs, forecast budgets, and manage spend effectively
Familiarity with tools like SAP, Oracle, Coupa, or similar platforms
Proficiency in Excel or data tools to track procurement metrics and supplier performance
Knowledge of safety standards and sourcing of PPE or other protective gear
Ability to support fleet modernization projects by aligning procurement timelines with project milestones
Strong interpersonal skills to work with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Comfortable managing a diverse portfolio of goods and services in a dynamic project environment
Preferred:
Understanding of sourcing consumables and services for hotels and food & beverage operations
Understanding of procurement regulations, especially if working in a regulated industry (e.g., maritime, defense, transportation)
Ability to assess and mitigate supply chain risks
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay range for this position is $22.00-$25.00 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
