Forklift Operator**
**Job Description**
The Forklift Operator plays a critical role in warehouse and logistics operations by ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials. This position is responsible for loading and unloading shipments, maintaining accurate inventory of finished products, and guiding freight vehicles to designated areas. A strong focus on safety and prior forklift experience are essential for success in this role.

**Responsibilities**
+ Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods.
+ Direct freight vehicles to appropriate loading/unloading zones.
+ Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper storage of materials.
+ Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs.
+ Collaborate with logistics and warehouse teams to support daily operations.
+ Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum 1 year of forklift operating experience required.
+ Valid forklift certification.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Ability to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.
+ Good communication and teamwork skills.

**Work Environment**
This is a fully on-site position in Adel, Iowa, with shifts from 8am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. The work schedule is currently 32-40 hours a week, preparing for a busy season with potential 50-hour work weeks and two Saturdays a month. The warehouse is not temperature controlled, so it can get hot. You will work in a small team of 10-15 individuals. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes or boots, shorts or jeans, and a work-appropriate shirt or tank top.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr.
