Job Summary
W e are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our operations team. This role involves straightforward packaging line operations and essential warehouse support tasks. The technician will play a key part in the day-to-day handling, filling, labeling, and organization of materials within a clean, safety-focused environment.
Job Description
- Operate a simple automated filler to fill drums and totes.
- Label and package drums and totes accurately according to specifications.
- Ensure product quality standards are met during the packaging process.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas using a forklift or pallet jack.
- Stack goods in designated storage areas following inventory protocols.
- Load/unload goods from vehicles and secure loads for safe transport.
- Keep work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any issues.
- Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
- Work requires Filling, Labeling, Packaging, Material handling and Cleaning and workplace organization
- Shift: 11am - 7pm M-F
Skills Required
- Comfortable operating simple machinery (e.g., automated filling lines).
- Good basic math, reading, and communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy may be required.
- Valid drivers license and a clean driving record (if driving is involved).
- Forklift certification in accordance with OSHA standards or willingness to obtain.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, safety-first environment.
Education
- Have a High School Diploma or GED.
Additional Requirements
- Up to 2 individuals may work on the filler at one time one operating the machine, one on the forklift.
- This is a physical role that requires standing, lifting, and moving materials.
