Position Overview, Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for the financial operations of the Global Procurement function. This position will work closely with the Global Procurement teams, the Senior level Finance and Accounting Corporate and BU organizations, as well as the Supply Chain and Logistics functions. The Global Procurement Finance Director will be part of the Global Procurement leadership team and will report to the SVP Global Procurement, with dotted line to the Finance Organization. This role will have two direct reports in North America as well as dotted line direct Procurement finance reports in several of the BU Global Procurement organizations.
Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for reporting, forecasting, and financial compliance within the Global Procurement function across all direct and indirect categories. This position is also fully responsible for North America Procurement and Logistics financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial planning of the Global Procurement function including budget, strategic planning and forecasts.
- Maintaining coordination and communication with the Corporate and BU Finance organizations including contracts, pricing, hedging and payment terms.
- Management and administration of the raw materials pricing in Crowns systems
- Management and administration of Global Procurement related software systems in close coordination with IT/Accounting/Finance, as necessary
- Management, design, and operation of all Procurement Categories financial modeling, analysis and evaluation (to be used, for example, in financial planning, contract negotiations, raw materials pricing, working capital and contract terms)
- Management and implementation of Procurement processes in coordination and compliance with audit requirements
- Coordination and reporting of Global data for Sustainability purposes
Job Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in the areas of Manufacturing/Operations Finance or Accounting with an in-depth understanding of the relationship between procurement spending and financial statements including purchase to payables, Working Capital and Cash Flow.
- Proven track record of developing and managing forecasts for all reporting levels throughout and organization.
- Advanced user of Excel; experience with PowerBi a plus!
- BS degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferable.
