Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift

2nd Shift Forklift Operator Job Description This role involves moving products through the facility using a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, and staging products. You will also utilize software systems and handheld devices, with a preference for candidates who have experience with inventory systems. Safety is a major focus in this position. Responsibilities Operate a forklift to move products within the manufacturing environment. Load and unload products from trucks. Stage products for processing and distribution. Utilize software systems and handheld devices for inventory management. Maintain a strong focus on safety protocols and procedures. Essential Skills 1-2 years of warehouse experience. Experience with inventory systems and RF scanners. Forklift operation in a manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly advantageous. Proficiency with pallet jacks and material handling. No required education or certifications. You will work the 2nd shift; Monday - Friday, 3 PM to 11 PM (with mandatory OT every other Saturday). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manhattan, Kansas. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.38 - $18.38/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
