Forklift Operator (part of Allegis Group) 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Waverly, NE 68462 Forklift Operator - 1st Shift - Weekly Pay As a Forklift Operator you will be responsible for reading work orders or receiving oral instructions to determine the necessary work assignments, materials, and equipment. You will utilize motorized forklifts and other industrial trucks to position lifting devices for moving, loading, or unloading packages or products to designated areas. Additionally, you will manually transport building products to ensure timely and complete delivery, count finished products to verify order completion, and bundle products for further processing or shipment. You will also install protective devices, bracing, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported, and maintain storage areas while performing routine maintenance on power industrial trucks. Responsibilities Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and necessary materials and equipment. Utilize motorized forklifts and other industrial trucks to move, load, or unload packages or products. Manually transport building products for timely and complete delivery. Count finished products to determine order completion. Bundle products for further processing or shipment following prescribed procedures. Install protective devices, bracing, or strapping to prevent shifting or damage during transport. Maintain storage areas and perform routine maintenance on power industrial trucks. Essential Skills 6+ months of experience in a warehouse, production, or construction environment. 6+ months of forklift experience. 6+ months of experience in a non-climate controlled environment. 6+ months of experience in a physically demanding work environment with consistent lifting up to 75 lbs.
