NOW HIRING FORKLIFT OPERATORS! Location - Miramar, CA Shift - 1 st Shift (needs to be available from 5AM - 5PM, LOTS of overtime!) Pay Rate - $18/HR Job Description/ Responsibilities The Forklift Operator will be responsible for using a sit-down forklift to pick and pull orders, as well as load and unload trucks daily. This role involves receiving orders from customers, picking the orders, and preparing them for loading onto customer trucks. A typical day consists of 60% forklift work and 40% manual labor, with interactions with over 100 customers requesting orders at will-call. The operator is expected to read instructions and understand procedure manuals while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the work area. General labor tasks include wrapping products, hand-picking items off pallets, rearranging the warehouse, and ensuring a clean work environment. Customer service skills are a significant advantage. Exhibit strong customer service skills in interactions with customers. Essential Skills/ Qualifications Proficiency in operating a forklift; certification preferred. 1-2+ years of warehouse experience. Experience in material handling, inventory management, loading, and unloading. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Experience with commercial doors, frames, or hardware highly preferred. Prior experience in construction or building materials is a significant advantage. Self-discipline, strong work ethic, and ambition. Ability to work well with an award-winning team.
