Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship not available. Our client is seeking a Project Manager - Logistics Management in Coral Gables, FL. Job Description In collaboration with program management office, organize and coordinate events in a manner that allows for pre-event logistics, on-site coordination and post-event evaluation Responsible for conference scopes, schedules, and goals to ensure timely delivery of high-quality content meeting industry needs. This includes serving as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to appropriately promote events and maintain compliance with corporate branding and marketing objectives. Participate in vendor selection criteria for vetting of desired contractors and partners to be used in support of all program related logistics and events Serve as liaison across internal and external stakeholder community in terms of event planning processes, share relevant data, and advocate for outcomes that are in the best interest of the organization's goals. Conduct post-event analysis and evaluations to determine improvement opportunities and continuation of efforts for specific topics and/or locations. Skills & Requirements 7+ years of experience in event planning, coordination + management experience in large, complex, enterprise environments Must possess full lifecycle medium-large scale event management experience to include the following responsibilities: Personnel logistics management (transportation, lodging, catering) Venue(s), vendor(s) and supplier(s) selection Venue assessment + analysis + recommendations (inclusive of audio visual needs) Hotel accommodations + recommendations Dining assessment + recommendations Must possess strong project management experience to include the following: Managing budgets and timelines Milestone tracking + support Measuring event success through KPIs and feedback Resource planning Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred Preferred qualifications include: CMP (Certified Meeting Planner) and / or CEM (Certified in Exhibition Management) designation preferred Benefits/Other Compensation This position is a contract/temporary role where Hays offers you the opportunity to enroll in full medical benefits, dental benefits, vision benefits, 401K and Life Insurance ($20,000 benefit).
