Forklift Operator Job Description As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for moving boxes, bottles, steel drums, and pallets efficiently to manage and transport inventory. Your role involves loading and unloading trucks, utilizing both manual labor and a sit-down propane forklift. Must Haves Forklift operation experience (minimum of 3 years in a warehouse setting). Forklift certification. Proficiency in operating 5K sit-down and stand-up forklifts. Responsibilities Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move inventory. Handle materials such as boxes, bottles, steel drums, and pallets. Load and unload trucks efficiently. Manage inventory by picking, packing, and moving items. Work Environment Work in a medium-sized, clean, and air-conditioned facility located in Socorro, Texas. The work attire requires covered shoes, a work shirt, and jeans, with no jewelry. The position operates on a day shift from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm. Overtime may be required based on production needs but is not guaranteed.
