We are currently hiring a Yard Forklift Operator for a full-time, role in Calgary. This role is ideal for someone with solid forklift experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle physical tasks in an outdoor yard environment. Job Title: Yard Forklift Operator
Location: Calgary, AB
Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM 2:30 PM (occasional Saturdays as needed)
Pay Rate: $21.00 $23.00/hour (based on experience)

Responsibilities
Safely operate a sit-down counterbalance forklift in a yard and warehouse setting

Load and unload building materials from trucks

Move lumber and related materials to designated areas

Perform daily equipment inspections and follow safety procedures

Assist with general yard labour and organizing inventory

Collaborate with the team to meet daily production and shipping goals

Qualifications
Valid external forklift license

25 years of experience operating a sit-down counterbalance forklift

Strong knowledge of forklift safety and basic maintenance

Comfortable with heavy lifting and working outdoors

Good English communication skills (verbal and written)

Able to follow both verbal and written instructions

Team-oriented, dependable, and safety-conscious
