Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Logistics Forklift Operator is responsible for the operation of a forkliftin a warehouse setting and performing various material handling duties which mayinclude the unloading and loading of product from containers, other cargotransportation or warehouse storage equipment (e.g., containers, trailers,racks, etc.). This position requires a high level of skill and ability toensure that the product is handled in an expedient and safe manner withoutdamage. This position involves the transport, organization, and placement ofproduct in a well-organized and neat manner within the appropriate area of thewarehouse, on a truck, or other appropriate location. This individual shouldpossess a good working knowledge of materials handling equipment. The forkliftoperator is responsible for performing safety inspections of equipment prior touse and for ensuring preventive maintenance and service is performed on aregular basis. Successful completion of instructional course(s) and properlicensing is required prior to operation of any equipment. Must be able to workdaily overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.
