The Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of crews on job sites to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to specified quality standards. This role involves hands-on leadership, planning, and communication between workers, subcontractors, and management.
Supervise and lead a team of workers in day-to-day operations.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
Assign tasks to crew members and ensure timely completion.
Monitor work progress and provide updates to supervisors or project managers.
Inspect work to ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
Train and mentor workers; ensure team members use proper techniques and tools.
Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors on the job site.
Maintain job site cleanliness and safety.
Order materials and manage inventory for the site.
Troubleshoot issues and resolve conflicts on the job site.
Complete administrative duties such as timesheets, reports, and incident documentation.
Warehouse manager has to keep track of inventory, safety equipment, machines, keep things organized, and track what goes in and out of the warehouse. He has to let me know when we are low on supplies of any kind and is responsible for making sure we do not lose anything and keeping the laborers accountable.
